This man is a resident of the village where Feyre Archeron and her family lived, where he works as a woodcutter.
His son, Tomas Mandray, planned to propose to Feyre's older sister, Nesta Archeron, and she was very happy with the news thinking that one day she could marry him, something Feyre didn't like at all. When she is about to go to Prythian with Tamlin she asks her father not to allow Nesta to marry Tomas as he and his siblings knew that his father beat his mother and they did nothing to stop it.
