Tamlin's grandfather was a High Fae and the former High Lord of the Spring Court.

History

This High Fae lived in the Spring Court of Prythian with his family. He had at least one son who took his place after his death.

As High Lord he enacted the tithe on his lands, an event that took place twice a year and during which all Court citizens, both High Fae and Lesser Faeries had to provide gifts depending on their income and status, to guarantee their ruler's livelihood. Once promoted to High Hord, both his son and his grandson continued this practice.

This High Lord lived in times before the War between Fae and mortals, that is, before the Treaty and the creation of the Wall. He had mortal slaves in his power since his son had them when he held the position of High Lord and was in favor of maintaining slavery like his ally, the King of Hybern.
