Rhysand's grandfather was a High Fae and the former High Lord of the Night Court.
History[]
This High Fae lived in the Night Court of Prythian with his family. He had at least one son who took his place after his death.
As High Lord he forbade the offspring of mortals and Fae, that is half-breed, from entering the city of Velaris, a practice that was continued by his son. After the War between the two species, his grandson Rhysand became High Lord and allowed all half-breed who requested it to enter the city, but there were not many.[1]
