Mrs. Laurent is the mortal house-keeper of the Archeron's Estate.

History

Mrs. Laurent began living and working with the Archeron family after they regained their fortune thanks to Tamlin.

A Court of Mist and Fury

In order to gain the Book of Breathings from the mortal queens, Rhysand, Feyre Archeron, Cassian, and Azriel visited Feyre's family's estate. Mrs. Laurent appears when Feyre knocks on the door. She begins asking how she can help, before noticing Feyre's face. Mrs. Laurent recalled meeting Feyre before when she lived with her sisters. However, she becomes hesitant to let Feyre enter the house upon seeing Feyre's High Fae traits, and only lets her in when Elain Archeron noticed her at the door.

After the meeting between the gathered individuals, Mrs. Laurent promises not to say a word about what had occurred in the house. Later her employers ask her and the rest of the servants to leave the house as they would be visited by a group of faeries and the mortal queens.

Soon after, she left Feyre's village to stay in a different mortal town.

Appearance

She is described as a merry and rounded-faced woman.

Personality

Mrs. Laurent is protective over Feyre's family but is obedient and loyal when Elain questions her decisions. She is hesitant to let Feyre enter the estate, possibly because of her faerie-looking appearance and the conflict between both species.
