Mrs. Laurent is the mortal house-keeper of the Archeron's estate. She is described as a merry and rounded-faced woman.
Personality[]
Mrs. Laurent is protective over Feyre's family but is obedient and loyal when Elain questions her decisions. She is hesitant to let Feyre enter the estate, possibly because of her faerie-looking appearance and the conflict between both species.
History[]
A Court of Mist and Fury[]
In order to gain the Book of Breathings from the mortal queens, Rhysand, Feyre, Cassian, and Azriel visited Feyre's family's estate. Mrs. Laurent appears when Feyre knocks on the door. [1] She begins asking how she can help, before noticing Feyre's face. Mrs. Laurent recalled meeting Feyre before when she lived with her sisters. However, she becomes hesitant to let Feyre enter the house, and only lets her in when Elain noticed her at the door.
After the meeting between the gathered individuals, Mrs. Laurent promises not to say a word about what had occurred in the house. Soon after, she left Feyre's village to stay in a different mortal town.
