This unnamed mortal was the grandmother of Nesta, Elain, and Feyre Archeron. She insisted her grandchildren call her Grandmamma.

History

At some point in her life, she had a daughter who grew up and went on to marry a mortal man and had three daughters with him Nesta, Elain and Feyre.

She believed children should be harshly disciplined for any infraction, as such there was little room for mercy or understanding. When Nesta was seven years old, Grandmamma had beaten her palms raw with a ruler for missteps in her dancing lessons.

She died of a deep-rooted cough that turned into a deadly infection. As Elain was younger, she was spared of the cruelties of her tutelage and had wept for her death, dutifully laying flowers on her grave. Nesta on the other hand felt relief when Grandmamma died, and never laid flowers for her as she bears a scar near her left thumb from one of her nastier punishments.

When her daughter died, she was buried next to her.
