Morrigan's mother is a High Fae who lives in the Court of Nightmares of the Night Court.

History

She lives in the Court of Nightmares, or Hewn City, of the Night Court, where her husband Keir serves as Steward and her daughter Morrigan is Third-in-Command of the High Lord, Rhysand.

When Rhysand and his Inner Circle visit the city, her husband insults Feyre Archeron, the High Lord's mate, causing him to break his arm in several places and forbidding him to heal with magic. He goes back to his house to recover and when her daughter shows up, her mother tells her that it would be better if she left.

In A Court of Frost and Starlight, Rhysand mentions that he knew better than to ever mention Morrigan's mother in front of her.
