In this lake located in the Continent is confined Koschei, one of the Old Gods.
History[]
Koschei, along with his twin younger brother and sister, the Bone Carver and Stryga (better known as the Weaver), came to the lands where Prythian currently stands from another dimension and were worshiped. as Old Gods by the Fae of the time.
The three established a reign of terror so at one point an ancient female Fae tricked Stryga into diminishing her powers and locked her in a cottage in Prythian's heart, she locked the Bone Carver in the Prison and confined Koschei to a lake in the continent.
Vassa, the sixth mortal queen, is bound to this lake after being cursed by Koschei sold to him by the other queens.
Trivia[]
- On the map that accompanies the books of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series a lake is shown on the continent, above the Wall, so it can be inferred that this is the lake in question.
