The Daglan are a species that were near-gods and monsters.
History[]
The Daglan ruled for millennia, enslaving the faeries and the humans. They were petty and cruel and drank the magic of the land like wine. They delighted in terrorizing the faeries and humans under their control. They created the Wild Hunt as a way to keep the faeries and humans in line. They'd gather a host of their fiercest, most merciless warriors and grant them free rein to kill as they pleased. They possessed mighty, monstrous beasts—hounds, that they used to run prey to ground before they tortured and killed them.
The Daglans were overthrown by Fionn using the great sword Gwydion.
