Despite being an outsider to the Autumn Court, Azriel had wanted to invoke the Blood Duel to challenge Beron and Eris Vanserra when he'd first found Morrigan, but Mor's claim of vengeance on both kept him from doing so.
When Rhysand finds Azriel and Elain Archeron in a compromising position, with her mate, Lucien Vanserra being upstairs in the River House, he warns Azriel that Lucien could demand the Blood Duel if he sees them.[1]
