Aunt Ripleigh is the supposed aunt of Feyre, Elain and Nesta Archeron. When she becomes seriously ill, Feyre goes to take care of her, or at least that is the official version since Feyre is taken to live in Prythian.

History

A Court of Thorns and Roses

After Feyre kills Andras in the forest, Tamlin, the High Lord of the Spring Court visits Feyre at her home in her village. She is given two options to either die or go with him to the Spring Court. Feyre chooses the second option and Tamlin casts a glamour over her family so they believe she is staying with her wealthy long-lost aunt, who became ill.

When Feyre returns back to the village because she is no longer safe at the Spring Court. Her family immediately asks how Aunt Ripleigh is, to which Feyre carries on the Aunt Ripleigh charade telling everyone that she had died and left her fortune in inheritance. Feyre notices Nesta is distant and when she is talking to her about her trip to Aunt Ripleigh's house, Nesta tells her that there is no Aunt Ripleigh, that she knows the truth because she hadn't fallen under Tamlin's glamour, unlike Elain and their father, so Feyre tells her what really happened during her stay in Prythian.
