This cottage is the residence of the Archeron family after they lost all their money.

Description[]

The cottage consists of two rooms and a bathroom made out of gray stones with faded ward-markings against the faeries. The cottage is cramped with a small garden outside. Also, Feyre Archeron comments that the bed, where she and her sisters sleep, is the only item that survived their downfall as it came from their old estate, and in it all three of the sisters were born. It is also where their mother died. The bed was made out of carved ironwood.

History[]

A Court of Thorns and Roses[]

After a bad deal, the Archerons lost everything and were left in ruins living in a cottage in a poor village two days distance from the the Wall. The cottage consisted of not more than two rooms and a bathroom. The three sisters Nesta, Elain and Feyre Archeron had to share the same bed in the only room and the bathroom did not have hot water, so it had to be boiled in order to have a hot bath.

When the youngest of them, Feyre, was hunting in the Forest near the Wall and murdered a Fae named Andras when he was in his wolf form, the High Lord of the Spring Court of Prythian appeared at the cottage and demanded that she go with him to Prythian or die on the spot, as established in the Treaty signed after the War.

Feyre went with him to the Spring Court and seeing how bad she felt about not being able to fulfill the promise she had made to her mother on her deathbed, to take care of her father and her sisters, Nesta and Elain, Tamlin used a glamour on them and made them believe that Feyre had gone to take care of a rich aunt who was dying and that they were no longer poor since the ship that his father believed had sunk had been found and a man had gone to do a business with their father, which gave them a lot of income and that's why they were able to move into the estate. The only one who did not fall under the glamour was Nesta.

As a way to protect Feyre from Amarantha, Tamlin sent her back to her family and when she arrived in the carriage she realized that they no longer lived in the cottage but in a estate on the outskirts of the village, and that the others did not remember that they had been poor. According to Elain the mansion had so many bedrooms that you could sleep in one every night. In honor of Feyre's return, her father threw a party where all the rich people in the area were invited. However, Elain comments that she misses the cottage, but Feyre comments that she looked at the cottage with hatred.
