I heard this song the other day and thought that it matched the relationship development between Rhysand and Feyre. I can see it coming from both perspectives so I don't beleive that it carries the message that Rhysand needs to protect Feyre or vice versa.
What's on your mind?
I’m not sure if I’ve missed something but why didn’t Feyre use any of her powers during the battle? She showed she could use them when Hybern attract Velaris so why didn’t she use her power to help fight.
It personally felt like the character was held back even though she was immensely powerful.
Was it based purely on the fact she needed to use her all her strength with the cauldron?
Who else absolutely cried when Amren sacrificed herself?
I'm 100% certain that Gwyn is related to the Vanserra Family she's also the only other fae to use her family name like the Vanserras and she said her mother lived in The Forest House but anyway I think either Eris or Lucien is her grandfather. Lucien due to his relationship to Jesminda since we don't know what kind of faerie she was and it's quite possible but in the case of Eris i could see his redemption being more of familial love for his granddaughter instead of romantic as well as Cassian saying he's possibly a good male but he's to much of a coward to act on it. Also when Rhys mentioned the firstborn child and Eris said he doesn't know about the firstborn instead of my firstborn now this may be a stretch but its possible Gwyn's mother is Eris' firstborn who i feel he gave up to the priestesses to protect her from Beron since we know what he did to Jesminda and as well as what he does to his family. So to Beron, he'd view his granddaughter as an abomination that needs to be disposed of as well as to keep his bloodline pure so basically some Death Eater shit and i could see Eris trying to become High Lord so that he doesn't need to hide it anymore and so him and possibly his brothers can love who they want without their father in the way.
Hi Guys! I am new here and just finished reading ACOTAR which took me a while (if four days counts as a while) to get through it. I am a little confused because everybody seems to not like Tam so Imma put the question out there.
Do we or do we not like the High Lord of the Spring Court? (without any spoilers)
Hey I would love for you guys to check out my fanfiction I have written - would love some feedback.
Set during the events of Sarah J. Maas's novel A Court of Silver Flames after Cassian and Nesta obtain the Death Trove item, The Harp. A mysterious woman with unimaginable power comes through a portal created by the Harp. Azriel struggles to come to grips with his relationship with Elain while searching for answers as to why the Harp brought this woman into their world.
I just finished reading the first book. There was a significant amount of information missing from the actual interactions of Rhys and Feyre. I understand they are endgame, soulmates etc. But there are actual quotes, acts, facts that show that Rhys abused Feyre while she was human. Mentally, physically before healing her arm, mentally again by forcing her to drink the Fairie wine. He used to see her as a pawn, possession, and tool. I'm sure he somehow gets a redemption arc in the future books, but that does not mean we should erase the actual horrible acts he did against her, the actual cruel things he said.
Happy birthday Feyre! Let’s take a moment to appreciate our favorite high lady :)
I just finished frost & starlight (or whatever its called idgaf) but the entire time ive read the books i imagined Amren looking exactly like Edna Mode from the Incredibles and i cant get over it
was pondering over a thought, lol. Who would win: Dorian vs Feyre
Today is our beloved Rhysand/Rhys/Illyrian baby’s birthday!! Happy Birthday Rhys and hope it’s a great one!
Spend it well with your brothers, family…and mate!😏
Hello! I hope someone can help me. I am writing a paper on the Sarah J Maas fandom community and I would like to interview some fans. It would be really short, just 10 questions, and it can be done thru email. I am not asking anything super personal, so you wouldn't need to worry about that. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested <3
So after months of begging and pleading, my boyfriend finally agreed to read aCoTaR!!!! *commence intense cheering*
So he just finished reading the part where we meet Lucien and here's his reaction to major plot points so far:
Feyre shoots the Fae wolf: "oh she should not have done that... this is gonna be bad..."
Tamlin comes for her: "if she goes with him, i'm throwing this book across the room" *throws book* "He is not a good guy! hes probably gonna abuse her or smth!" (he's leagues ahead of us already O_o)
They arrive at the Spring Court: "ok this is to good to be true"
They meet Lucien: "I like this guy... he's gonna be important later"
I'll keep you guys updated lmao...
Honestly I've just loved Amren since acomaf and still do.
Yes there have been misfits(not to mention that scene in avower but that was explained later on anyway) but still I just liked her sassiness so much and I LITERALLY thought she would be the grouchy brooding aunt in a family party, either sulking in a corner scaring the shit out of everyone or criticizing everyone. And then Lucien said she was a cranky aunt and honestly it was so funny. And I was so happy she ended up with Varian too.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed but both Elain and Azriel's other love interest are both redheads with connections to Spring, Autumn, and quite possibly Day as well. Obviously, Lucien is the son of Lady Autumn and Helion of Day and was Emissary of Spring. In Gwyn's case, from what we know, her grandmother is a River Nymph from Spring and her grandfather is a High Fae from Autumn *cough* Eris*cough* which obviously resulted in her mother but her mother met High Fae male she doesn't remember really which resulted in Catrin and Gwyn. I personally believe that Gwyn's father is from Day (or Dawn or both) because she has the ability to glow albeit when she sings. So I feel that we're going to learn more about Elain's seer powers as well as any others she may possess, Azriel's shadowsinger powers, Lucien's day court powers, and Gwyn's power because i feel she may be more powerful than we believe especially since she's descended from multiple courts if my day court theory is true. As well as learning more about their pasts and families.
Let me know what y'all think.
Hello everyone I'm Miriam (she/her) I've been an acotar fan for a while(since january i think) but i haven't been active here cause I've been using fandom from the app.

Something really unrelated to ACOTAR but I needed an unbiased opinion..
Should I watch Mean Girls and/or Legally Blonde? All my friends tell me I should, and I didn't want to ask on one of their fandoms because... well, it would be a bit biased in favour of watching them.
I was trying so damn hard to give him the benefit of the doubt because I liked him in the first book. But no more. He emotionally abused Feyre. But not only that, he emotionally AND physically abused Lucien. Instead of getting Feyre away when he had the chance in the first book, they had sex. Seriously? After that, he and Ianthe ruled her life. Something that also gave me red flags was during the wedding, he tried to pull her to him. To me, it kinda seemed like he was trying to force her to say yes when she started hesitating, but that's just the way I saw it. He acted like a complete and total baby when Amarantha hurt the girl he loved, at least Rhys fought for her, and offered his help. Lucien was being watched too, but he still at least came to try and help. Tamlin didn't yell a warning to Feyre when she was stuck with the worm. The thing I hate most was how badly he treated Lucien, and I'm not sorry for rambling about it. He treated Feyre bad too, but she got out wayyy sooner. Lucien was still trying to be his friend, and be nice, and Tamlin still treated him like trash. Also, he let Ianthe relentlessly come onto him. I'll leave the Ianthe thing at that, because if I don't, I'll go off into another rant.
For the few that read my rant, thank you.
Amren is a former inmate of the Prison who is said to have escaped after a few millennia of imprisonment by giving up "her grace and perfect immortality" to bind herself to a High Fae body.
Also- SHORT SASSY PEOPLE REPRESENT!
You show'em girl !!!
