Okay? I think she's BOSS!
But it's great that you like her more now! What made you stop hating her? Is it because you understand her motives and backstory a little better now?
Oh, okay, I get it.
So like, you wish Elain had a kind of split personality? Like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation, but without her being evil?
Yeah, I get that!
I honestly forget that they're both older than Feyre, because it's mentioned so scarcely.
I'm glad someone agrees with me!
I know right!
Lucien and Suriel
Alis and Suriel
Alis and Lucien
I think that's the thing; Nesta doesn't know how to ask for help. Nor does she know how to accept it. She sees it as being weak; as putting herself at the mercy of others. That is one issue I really hope she learns to overcome in ACOSF.
I'm sorry, but I really don't like people shipping her with Tamlin. First of all, Feyre would go off, I mean, this is the guy who locked her in his house, come on, She would not be able to stand the thought of them together. I don't think Elain would like the idea of being with someone who caused her little sister so much emotional and mental distress. And, honestly, I don't think even Tamlin could take that. Even though Elain bears the least resemblance in the family, he would still be thinking of Feyre. Feyre leaving broke him, and he's immortal, I don't think he's going to move on that fast, least of all to her SISTER.
She finds it so hard, especially growing up with a mother like hers, one who cared more about partying and rich friends than her daughters. Even so, her death was hard on Nesta, being the eldest, she had the most time with their mother, even if it was still less than she would have liked it to be.
I personally love all the Elriel easter eggs SJM has actually given us.
Have you ever thought that;
She hated her Father for not doing anything
As Feyre said, she feels too much of what others feel, and to cope with it, acts like she doesn't feel, doesn't care
She is traumatised from what Tomas tried to do to her
She was the one who tried to go after Feyre to Prythian
She tries not to show who she cares about, tries not to care, so she can't lose them again.
Please just consider this. 😁
... That's so cute!
That's okay, that's your opinion.
How do you feel about Nesta?
I hope so. But I personally have seen all of that in what we have been shown by SJM. I can't wait for ACOSF. I really want to see what SJM has given us now. Whatever the result, Azriel, Lucien, AND Elain all deserve to be happy, in whatever way. I really want to see how Nesta deals with the Illyrians, though. They'll be in for quite a rude shock, I think!
I'm sure that once she got over the grief, if she was given the chance to change his mind and still be with him, she wouldn't because she has seen his true colours, and realised that the Fae are not even nearly as bad as they are made out to be. I disagree that she was disgusted, though. She was certainly distraught, and extremely confused, but I don't think she was digusted.
She hates the idea of being given to someone, of belonging to someone. I think the whole thing would have gone a lot smoother if she hadn't been engaged. She loved Graysen, and was heartbroken when he wouldn't take her back.
