I'm sorry if I'm bothering any of you but I have to get this out of my system or I won't be able to go about my day as normal. I was so so sO dissapointed with a court of wings and ruin, it's not even a joke anymore yall. It felt like the author neglected Feyre in order to pave a foundation for Nesta ... It was all about Nesta, how Nesta felt, how Nesta was dealing with everything, how Nesta was this how Nesta was that.
You see, I get it. The author is focusing the next novels in the series on the other characters and so she needs to put the spotlight on the others but honestly you guys, I wouldn't mind that but Nesta doesn't deserve shit (pls excuse my vulgar language). Feyre is such a sweet little cinnamon, always trying to make herself smaller or adjusting herself to Nesta's ways and yet this stuck up "cold asf" bitch was constantly putting her down, blaming her for her and Elainee's Fae transformation, condemning her for something Feyre could never even see coming herself, always acting like Feyre was the enemy that I just wanted to punch Nesta in the face thoughout the entire book.
I get it, it's her character, her persona is just cold and inhumane but gOddAmn, does it take so much fucking effort to be nice to your youngest sibling? For fucks sake you let her go out hunting ALONE when she was merely 14 just because you couldn't bother moving your lazy haughty bitch ass. Goodness gracious I didn't understand why the author made Feyre so submissive in regards to Nesta... Truly, Feyre deserves everything and then some. Yall can keep Nesta.
Now, I'm not saying she's a terrible sister, because she isn't (ex. Elaine) but I just feel like she never really gave two fucks about Feyre, while Feyre wouldn't even think twice to jump in front of fire for Nesta and that for some reason, really hurts me.
Feyre deserved better.
