She finds it so hard, especially growing up with a mother like hers, one who cared more about partying and rich friends than her daughters. Even so, her death was hard on Nesta, being the eldest, she had the most time with their mother, even if it was still less than she would have liked it to be.
I would have to agree with both of you on this one. I have mixed feeling about her. On one hand, she has been through a lot, and there are quite a few instances where we see the better parts of her, like when we find out that she tried to go after Feyre to Prythian. On the other hand, her actions towards the people she cares about are getting a bit out of hand. She even managed to push Amren and Elain away. I wish she would let them help her, and help herself, too.
I think that's the thing; Nesta doesn't know how to ask for help. Nor does she know how to accept it. She sees it as being weak; as putting herself at the mercy of others. That is one issue I really hope she learns to overcome in ACOSF.
