Rhys is a traditional welsh name so for me this always been easy as I am welsh. I dont think I could ever read as rise as that just seems so wrong to me
Yeah, I'm welsh aswell but I first read it Rise, my parents then corrected me-
I've always read it as rise-and, even with the pronounciation guide.
But I pronounce rhys as ris instead of rise (honestly i don't think anyone else does that but... that's the way I say it )
Ris-and?
Yah, or rise-sand i guess just definitely not reese-and even though that's technically how ur supposed to do it.
I thought it was Ris-and idk tho lol
REEEEESAND
It's REEEESAND
Is it weird that I say rise-and but say Reece because just saying Rice sounds off lmao
Lol no that i think about it it is weird to say rice-
In the audio books it’s Reese-And And whenever someone calls him Rhys they pronounce it Reese ??♀️
What do you think?
